How is rhinoplasty performed?

Rhinoplasty does not follow a standard protocol or an ordered series of steps. The procedure depends on the specific anatomy and expectations of the person having the surgery.

During the surgery

Generally, rhinoplasty requires general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation, depending on the complexity of surgery and the surgeon’s preference.
